Vancouver Police have Venables Street closed to traffic westbound at Campbell and only one lane eastbound is getting through after a trailer unit detached from a large truck.
The truck is carrying a load of commercial doors and windows and due to the instability of the load, the VPD Commercial Vehicle Unit is currently assessing the safest way to remove the vehicle and contents from the roadway.
Motorists are advised that traffic will be impacted for most of the morning and to avoid the area of Venables and Clark until further notice.
