Vancouver Police Collision investigators are appealing for witnesses to a motorcycle collision that has left the rider in hospital recovering from serious injuries.

On Thursday, July 5th at about 6 p.m., a single-vehicle collision occurred when the driver of a green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle travelling southbound on Granville Street at West 43rd Avenue lost control and crashed.

The rider was rushed to hospital where he remains with serious injuries that include multiple fractures, head injuries, and trauma to his chest.

Speed is considered to be a factor in the investigation.

The Vancouver Police Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the events leading up to the collision, and is appealing for any witnesses that have not yet come forward to call them at (604) 717-3012.
