A 27 year old Vancouver man is recovering at home after being robbed and pepper-sprayed at Oakridge Mall on August 6th.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m. that afternoon, two men met in the food court area of the mall regarding an item listed for sale online. During that meeting, the alleged buyer pepper-sprayed the seller and then stole the item from him.
Two other people seated nearby were also exposed to the pepper-spray.They were all treated by paramedics at the scene and released.
There is no one in custody at this time and police are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
