Two men are in police custody following a rollover collision.

Shortly after 7 a.m. on September 8th, a Vancouver Police dog handler spotted a car driving erratically in the area of 10th Avenue and Prince Albert Street.

The police officer turned on his emergency lights and siren attempting to pull the car over. The driver of the car swerved hitting a parked sport utility vehicle causing the car to roll over.

The driver and the passenger in the car ran from the collision and were taken into custody by police a short distance away.

Police have confirmed that the car was stolen in Burnaby.

A 19 year old  Vancouver man was arrested on an outstanding Vancouver warrant and is facing charges for being in the possession of stolen property.

The second man, a Burnaby man in his 20s, is facing charges for being in possession of stolen property.

Both men were taken to hospital and treated for possible injuries resulting from the collision. The two men were also treated for a single dog bite.

The sport utility vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the collision.
