Police are investigating the theft of bagpipes and a Delta Police pipe band dress uniform from BC Place Stadium on Saturday night.
At around 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 15th, a thief stole a large black duffle bag containing bagpipes and a Delta Police Pipe Band dress uniform from a corridor near the East gate at BC Place Stadium following the BC Lions half-time show where the Delta Police Pipe Band was performing.
The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old, 6’ tall, 175 lbs., and having brown hair and sideburns. He was wearing all black clothing and a baseball hat.
The suspect was last seen walking out of BC Place Stadium through the East Airlock onto Pacific Boulevard.
The items stolen were:
Brooch
Delta Police Pipe Band tartan
Delta Police Pipe Band dress uniform jacket
Feather bonnet
Pipe Band hat
Bagpipes
