The annual Vancouver Police Dog 2013 Calendar is now available. This very popular calendar sells out every year and proceeds go to a very worthy cause.
The calendar, featuring photographs of VPD Service Dogs and their handlers, is a fundraising initiative in support of the Candy Anfield Memorial Foundation. The foundation honours a VPD officer who lost a valiant struggle with breast cancer in 2004.
All work on the project, from photography to design and marketing, is done by volunteers. All of the money raised goes to the BC Cancer Foundation and the BC Children’s Foundation. Last year, the calendar raised roughly $15,000.
The cost of each calendar is $10.00 and they are available for purchase online and at the following locations, with their generous support:
