Vancouver Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian, Vancouver’s 14th traffic related fatality of 2012.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on October 27th, a 52 year old Vancouver woman was walking across Powell Street at Dunlevy Avenue when she was hit by a limousine that was turning west on Powell. Tragically, the woman died at the scene.
Police are not releasing the name of the woman at the request of her family.
The driver of the limousine has been cooperative with investigators. No charges have been laid and the collision remains under investigation at this time.
Alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the collision.
