A man is in hospital following a stabbing at S.W. Marine Drive and Ash Street.

At about 4:30 p.m. on January 4th, a 21 year old Vancouver resident left the Denny’s restaurant on S.W. Marine Drive when he was attacked in the parking lot by several men wearing masks. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with multiple stab wounds. His injuries are described as serious.

With the assistance of the RCMP, one suspect was taken into custody in Richmond shortly after the stabbing.

It is still early in the investigation, but it appears that the attack was targeted. Police continue to search for other suspects.
