A stolen truck containing four dogs ends up in Agassiz following a search for the pilfered pooches.

Around 3:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, a 2006 Ford Ranger pickup truck was stolen from the area of Woodland and 11th Avenue in Vancouver. The pickup truck, which belonged to a Vancouver based dog walking and pet care service, contained four dogs that were in the process of being dropped off to owners. Two of the dogs were reunited with owners a short time after the theft of the truck.

Shortly before 11:00 this morning, the pickup truck was located in Agassiz and the two outstanding dogs were found unharmed inside the truck.

Police are continuing their search for a suspect in the theft and anyone with information about the stolen pickup truck is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
