Vancouver Police are warning the public after a woman was attacked in northeast Vancouver on June 28, 2013.

At approximately 2:20 a.m., a 24 year old Vancouver woman was returning to her home and was walking through Pandora Park when she was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her and forced her to the ground.

The woman screamed for help and fought off the attacker, who then fled northbound through the park. Police are still investigating the motive for the attack.

The suspect was described as white, 40 years old, approximately 6′ tall, with a medium build. He had grey, slicked-back hair, was clean-shaven, and was wearing a black t-shirt and beige knee-length shorts.
