Around 5:15 this evening, a 27 year old woman was crossing 33rd Avenue at Main Street when she was hit by a car.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by paramedics, where she remains in critical, but stable condition.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
The cause of the collision has yet to be determined.
