Investigators remain at S.E. Marine Drive and Kerr Street after a fatal multi-vehicle collision.
At 7:00 this morning, a car driven south on Kerr Street by an 82 year old Vancouver man collided with two other vehicles travelling East on Marine Drive. Paramedics arrived, but the 82 year old man was declared deceased at the scene.
The two other drivers, one man and one woman, were taken to hospital with what are described as relatively minor injuries.
Collision investigators are trying to determine all of the factors that contributed to this incident. It is still early, but police are looking into the possibility that the deceased man was in some sort of medical distress just prior to the collision.
