Around 6:00 a.m., police responded to the area of the Brockton Oval in Stanley Park after receiving a report of a woman in medical distress.
The woman has now died and police are treating her death as possibly being suspicious in nature. Investigators from the Vancouver Police Major Crime Section are responding to the scene.
Stanley Park Drive remains closed as police conduct their investigation.
