Update

Vancouver Police are investigating a collision in Stanley Park after a cyclist struck a pedestrian.

Around 4 p.m., a 71-year-old man was crossing Stanley Park Drive in the area of the totem poles when he was struck by a man who was riding a bike. The pedestrian was knocked to the ground where it is believed that he suffered a serious head injury. The senior was rushed to hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment.

The cyclist was not injured, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
