Officers continue to investigate a shooting on Nanaimo Street near Charles Street that occurred earlier this afternoon.
Police received several calls of shots fired out front of a local business. When officers arrived, both suspect and victim had fled.
The shooting appears to have stemmed from an argument or altercation between two men. Investigators have no reason to believe there is any ongoing concerns for public safety.
Evidence gathered has confirmed shots were fired, but police have not yet confirmed if the intended victim was struck.
