IMG-20151224-WA0006Two men have been reminded that VPD officers are out looking for those who are out to ruin Christmas for others.

Shortly after 6:00 this evening, police were called about two men who broke into a car at a parking lot on Homer near Robson Street before taking off on foot.

Witnesses provided a description of the pair and police began the hunt. Officers found the Grinches a short time later at a building on Granville Street. They also found the stolen loot, $1000 worth of wrapped Christmas presents.

A 32- and 29-year-old, who are both known to police, will now spend some time in jail to reflect on their actions.

And what happens next, we hope? Well, in Whoville they say – that the Grinch’s small heart grew three sizes that day. And then – the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of ten Grinches, plus two!
