Chief Constable Adam Palmer’s Statement
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Friday night, approximately 100 people were gathered outside of the Muslim Association of Canada Centre located at 2122 Kingsway Avenue when a man on a bike rode up and pepper-sprayed approximately 15 people. He fled on his bike.
Police are continuing to search for the man who was described as having a slim build and was wearing a white or grey hooded sweatshirt and was riding a bike with a “rat trap” style rack on the back.
