Arrested: November 14, 2016

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a high-risk sex offender who is unlawfully at large.

On October 27th, Darren Wheatley was released from custody and has been living in Vancouver. He failed to return to his halfway house last night and is now wanted Canada-wide for breaching his court-imposed curfew.

Wheatley is currently on Statutory Release and a two-time Federal offender who is serving a 10-year sentence for two counts of sexual assault, sexual assault causing bodily harm, and two counts of overcoming resistance by choking, following three separate attacks on adult women in Ontario.

Wheatley is Aboriginal, 46 years old, 6′ tall, weighs 230 pounds, and has a large build. He has short black hair and brown eyes, and tattoos of a cow, a skull and a feather on his right upper arm, and a script design on his left upper arm.

Anyone who sees Darren Wheatley, or knows his whereabouts, is asked to not approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately.
