Vancouver – A Vancouver Police homicide investigation has led to the arrest of a suspect in the 2023 murder of a man in the Downtown Eastside.
On November 21, 2023, just after 3 p.m., Stephen Crock, 34, was found stabbed on the sidewalk near East Hastings and Columbia. He was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.
Following a year-long investigation, Lyle Price, 23, was arrested this week by VPD officers. The BC Prosecution Service has approved one count of second degree murder against Price.
Price remains in custody until his next court appearance.
