Vancouver – The Vancouver Police Department is seeking witnesses to a suspicious death in the Downtown Eastside.
On March 20, at approximately 7:40 a.m., BCEHS responded to a call in the south lane of the 100-block of East Hastings Street for a man in medical distress. Despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced deceased. Due to the suspicious nature of his injuries, paramedics notified the police. The VPD’s Homicide Unit is now investigating.
Investigators are asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to call the Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.
