Vancouver – Vancouver Police are investigating the city’s third homicide of 2026 after a man succumbed to injuries sustained in an alleged stabbing near East Hastings Street and Dunlevy Avenue.
VPD responded to the area yesterday at 12:38 a.m. after witnesses called 911. The victim was transported to hospital where he later died.
The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Matthew MacFarlane.
No arrests have been made.
