Vancouver – The Vancouver Police Department has seized and searched a boat moored in False Creek after reports someone aboard allegedly fired a gun with a suppressor into the water on Sunday evening.
The VPD’s Marine Squad and Emergency Response Team boarded the vessel Night Shadow at about 6 p.m. Sunday, September 13. Four individuals were found aboard and arrested.
The Night Shadow was towed to a secure location and a warrant was obtained to search the boat. Police located a chrome handgun, multiple gun parts, and a large extended magazine, as well as several suppressors.
Also seized were several baggies of suspected crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl, and large bags of cutting agents, dyes, scales, and drug cooking utensils.
The investigation continues and charges are pending.
