Vancouver Police are at a home in the 700 block of Skeena Street this morning investigating a possible sexual assault. A woman called 9-1-1 around 5:00 a.m. asking for assistance. Police arrived and she has since been taken to hospital.
It is unclear exactly what has occurred. Investigators will have further details once they have had an opportunity to interview the victim.
Forensic Identification officers are preserving any evidence at the home as a precaution.
Investigators have not uncovered any evidence at this stage to indicate that there is any risk to the public.
