Vancouver Police are investigating the death of a Vancouver man after he was shot at an East Vancouver home last night.
 
Shortly after 10:30 p.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call that a man had been shot at a house in the 3200 block of East 6th Avenue.
 
When police arrived they found a 21 year old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics were called, but the man died at the scene.
 
The victim’s name is not being released at this time. He is known to police and early indications are that this was a targeted attack. No suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
 
Investigators from the Vancouver Police Homicide Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit will be in the area throughout the morning as they process the scene.
