A 17 year old Asian man has died following an early morning stabbing at the Japan House Restaurant on Kingsway Avenue near Slocan Street.
The youth had been rushed to hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing that happened at the restaurant around 1:00 this morning. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
The Vancouver Police Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Unit have been called in and are working to determine a motive for the attack.
