One man has died following last night’s shooting in Coal Harbour.
Around 10:30 last night, two men were shot while sitting in a car parked on Cordova Street near Thurlow.
When police arrived they found one man in the car and the second victim a short distance away. Both victims were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Twenty-nine-year-old Tejinder Singh Malli of Richmond later died in hospital.
The second victim, a 28-year-old man from North Vancouver, remains in hospital in stable condition.
The victims are known to police, are associated to gangs and are connected to the drug trade. It is still early in the investigation, but the murder does appear to be targeted.
