Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with a suspicious death investigation.
On March 3rd, a deceased person was found in the basement suite of a home on East 22nd Avenue near Main Street.
Police were called and when officers arrived, they confirmed that the body was that of a 36-year-old Vancouver woman. Her death is being treated as suspicious.
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Unit remain at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 42-year-old Daniel Alphonse Paul in connection with the investigation.
“Police believe that Daniel Paul is a person of interest in the case and that he has valuable information to share in relation to this woman’s death,” says VPD spokesperson Sergeant Randy Fincham.
Daniel Paul is Aboriginal, 5’8” tall and has a medium build. He has brown eyes and short black hair
