Vancouver Police are looking for witnesses in an early morning assault on the Granville Street Bridge.

At around 3:00 Sunday morning, a 32-year-old woman was walking south on the east sidewalk over the Granville Street Bridge when she noticed a man looking over the railing. After she passed him, he ran in front of her and punched her several times in the face.

The victim received minor injuries and did not require immediate medical treatment.

The suspect was described as white, in his 30s, clean-cut with short, brown hair, stubble on his face, and wearing a dark-coloured suit.

Anyone who may have seen the suspect in the area is asked to contact the Vancouver Police at 604-717-2541 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
