Vancouver Police are looking for witnesses in an early morning assault on the Granville Street Bridge.
At around 3:00 Sunday morning, a 32-year-old woman was walking south on the east sidewalk over the Granville Street Bridge when she noticed a man looking over the railing. After she passed him, he ran in front of her and punched her several times in the face.
The woman screamed and her attacker was last seen running southbound off the bridge. A concerned taxi driver arrived after the suspect fled and contacted police.
The victim received minor injuries and did not require immediate medical treatment.
The suspect was described as white, in his 30s, clean-cut with short, brown hair, stubble on his face, and wearing a dark-coloured suit.
