Vancouver Police are investigating the death of a young child at an East Vancouver home.
Shortly after 4 pm, police were called to a residence in the area of Commercial Drive and Kitchener Street after receiving a report of a death of a child.
Detectives from the VPD’s Major Crime Section and the BC Coroners Service are on scene beginning their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
At this time the death does not appear suspicious, and there is no additional information to share.
