Witnesses made several calls to 9-1-1 one recent afternoon to report a man with an airsoft gun chasing another man while firing at him.
Officers arrived in the 100 block of W. Hastings and quickly found the suspect. He was in possession of a Sig Saur airsoft gun, cartridges, and ammunition, as well as a pry bar.
The items were seized, and the suspect was arrested for pointing a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of break-in instruments, carrying a concealed weapon, and breach of a release order.
The victim was not located.
