Officers on patrol earlier this encountered a woman on a stolen bike. At first, she tried to evade police on foot. However, she was later located nearby.
Officers discovered two outstanding warrants for the woman’s arrest and she was taken to jail. Officers also found a 1 oz. gold bar in her backpack.
The bicycle and the gold bar are believed to be stolen and will be returned to their rightful owners if they can be identified.
