One evening last weekend, ambulance paramedics were in a Downtown Eastside residential building attempting to revive three people who had overdosed. A man, who was successfully revived, allegedly proceeded to deploy bear spray onto the entire floor affecting everyone there.

Police arrived and found the suspect still holding the bear spray. A search also turned up several concealed knives and brass knuckles, which were seized. The man was arrested for four counts of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon, and taken to jail.
