A man was sitting in an East Vancouver park one recent evening, when a woman sat down beside him. When he got up to leave, she allegedly pointed a gun at him and said he owed her money for keeping him company. He told her he was calling 9-1-1 and she walked away.
Officers found the woman in the Downtown Eastside and located a black pellet gun in her bag, which looked like a real firearm.
The pellet gun was seized and the woman was arrested and taken to jail.
