Vancouver Police are requesting the public’s help to locate a missing 89-year-old woman with dementia who did not return from an afternoon walk on Vancouver’s west side.
Fumiko Maplethorp was last seen today at 3:20 p.m. entering Camosun Park near West 19th Avenue and Camosun Street.
Mrs. Maplethorp is Asian, five feet tall and has a slim build. She has medium length grey and white hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a maroon toque, a purple jacket, black pants, blue walking shoes and a blue medical mask.
Anyone who sees Fumiko Maplethorp is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with her until first responders arrive.
