Update: March 18, 2021
Vancouver – Vancouver Police are investigating the city’s third homicide of the year, which occurred Wednesday morning in a Downtown Eastside social housing building.
VPD officers responded to the Arco Hotel at Pender and Abbott streets around 4 a.m. and discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to hospital, but later died.
No arrests have been made and it’s believed the suspect fled prior to police arrival.
The victim has not yet been identified.
