Police were called to Bidwell and Davie last evening for a report of a man punching, kicking, and pushing random people in the area. When officers tried to stop the man, he resisted and pulled an officer’s hair, and bit her finger and hand.
Additional officers arrived and the suspect was arrested. He is facing possible charges of assault peace officer causing bodily harm, assault, and resist arrest.
The officer received treatment in hospital for her injuries.
