Early in the evening on June 15, a resident noticed a man inside a construction site in East Vancouver. He was gathering debris into a pile. When he proceeded to allegedly light the pile on fire, the resident called 911.
Vancouver Fire and Rescue arrived and extinguished the fire. VPD officers located a suspect who matched the description nearby. He was arrested for arson and taken to jail.
