Vancouver – Vancouver Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision in South Vancouver that claimed the life of one person this evening.
Officers responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls at around 5:15 p.m. for a tree that fell on a moving vehicle near Marine Way and River District Crossing. One person was trapped inside the vehicle and died.
Marine Way between Kerr Street and Boundary Road is closed while officers investigate.
