Vancouver Police have arrested the suspect in the murder of a man in the city’s West End last spring.

VPD homicide investigators made the arrest this afternoon in Kelowna, taking Lloyd Peter Robinson into custody for the second-degree murder of Jonathan James Bulloch.

Robinson, 40, has been charged and is currently in custody.

Bulloch was stabbed around 10 p.m. on May 27, 2023, following an altercation near Davie and Bute Street. He was taken to hospital, but later died.

VPD homicide investigators spent more than eight months gathering and analyzing evidence, which led them to today’s arrest at a house in Kelowna’s Glenmore neighbourhood.

Members of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, Kelowna RCMP, Southeast District Emergency Response Team, and RCMP’s Federal Serious Organized Crime division assisted in the arrest.
