Vancouver Police have re-arrested Skylar Pelletier – the high-risk sexual offender who was subject of a public warning one week ago.
Pelletier was arrested on a Canada-wide warrant in Downtown Vancouver on February 29 and remains in custody, pending review by the Parole Board of Canada. The warrant was issued for protection of society, under Section 135 (1) of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act.
VPD notified the public on February 26 that Pelletier had been released from custody and would be living in Vancouver.
