Vancouver – Charges have been approved against a suspect in relation to the West End vehicle-ramming incident on May 15.
Tadd Bali, 34, has been charged with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm. He remains in custody.
Bali has had extensive interactions with police in B.C. and in Saskatchewan.
The senior citizen injured when the suspect vehicle struck him remains in the hospital in serious condition.
Both injured VPD officers, including one recruit constable who was on his second day of work at the time of the incident, were released from the hospital on May 15.
