Vancouver – Vancouver Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday evening near Main Street and East Hastings Street.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., a woman was approached by an unknown female suspect who assaulted her and stole her cellphone. The suspect fled the area after the incident. Officers were flagged down by members of the public.
Investigators have conducted a video canvass of the area and are now seeking additional witnesses and surveillance footage.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV footage, dashcam footage, or other video recorded in the area around the time of the robbery is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department.
