Vancouver – Vancouver Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a man was robbed and stabbed in downtown Vancouver Tuesday night.

Around 10:45 p.m. police responded to reports of a stabbing around Granville Street and Nelson Street. Officers located the victim who was stabbed in the arm while being robbed by two suspects who stole his bag during the incident. After the assault, the suspects were last seen running southbound on Granville Street.

The first suspect is described as:

  • Indigenous male youth
  • Slim build
  • Wearing a green jacket
  • Black pants
  • Carrying a black side bag

The second suspect is described as:

  • Indigenous male youth
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black hoodie
  • Black pants

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to hospital.
