Vancouver Police are releasing the name and photograph of the homicide victim found floating in the Fraser River on the evening of July 23rd near the 9100 block of Bentley Street.

Lisa Arlene Francis, also known as Lisa Arlene Kireche, was a 41 year old sex trade worker living in the Downtown Eastside. She was last seen on July 10th and reported missing on July 17th. A dozen investigators have been working the case since the discovery of her body.

VPD Major Crime Homicide investigators are hoping the release of the photograph will help generate calls from the public as they work to establish the victim`s activities prior to her disappearance and murder.
