James Allan Pike, subject of a Canada-wide warrant and VPD media release on Tuesday, was arrested last night in downtown Vancouver.
At around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, a VPD officer spotted Mr. Pike near Jervis Street and Nelson Street. He ran from officers and was located a short time later hiding in a parkade. He was arrested with the help of police dog Griffin and his handler.
Mr. Pike was treated at hospital for a dog bite and then taken to jail. He remains in custody.
