A bicycle delivery person en route to a delivery was riding in the 900 block of Bute Street when a man approached her as she slowed down. He stood in front of her, allegedly preventing her from getting by, and attempting to take her bike.
The cyclist began to call for help, and passersby came to her aid, holding the man down until police arrived.
The suspect was arrested for robbery and taken to jail. The victim was not physically harmed.
