Vancouver Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the stranger attack in the West End last Saturday night.
“Investigators are pleased with the help they have received from the public in identifying this suspect,: says Constable Tania Visintin, VPD.
The victim, a 24-year-old-female, was walking home from shopping along Davie Street when she was allegedly grabbed by the suspect from behind in Maxine Lane on February 13.
Early this morning, investigators arrested a 57-year-old man and will be recommending charges to Crown counsel. He was released on conditions until his court appearance.
