Vancouver – Vancouver Police are investigating a serious collision that sent a pedestrian to hospital last week, and are asking anyone who saw what happened to call police.

The 26-year-old victim was crossing Venables Street near Clark Drive on September 6 at 5:20 p.m., when she was hit in the crosswalk by the driver of a silver Toyota Tundra that was traveling east on Venables. The victim was taken to hospital where she remains, recovering from her injuries.

“Investigators from VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit are looking for witnesses and dash-cam footage to assist with the investigation,” says Constable Tania Visintin. “Anyone with this information is asked to contact investigators as soon as possible.”
