Vancouver Police are appealing to the public for any information that might provide clues that will help further the investigation into how a man came to be found in an alley and seriously injured on the morning of Saturday, May 26th.

At around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 26th, a B.C. Ambulance crew was called to the north lane of the 500 block E. Cordova for a 54 year old man with serious injuries. It was discovered that the man had several cuts and scrapes on the right side of his body, to his arms, and a serious head injury. The man was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Investigators have spoken with the man but due to his injuries he is unable to account for the cause of the injuries or where he received his injuries.

The investigators have been unable to locate any witnesses to the incident and are appealing to the public for any information that could help determine whether the man was a victim of foul play and how he came to be lying in the lane.
