Vancouver Police are issuing a public warning to recreational drug users after a courier truck containing a large quantity of HIV medication was stolen from the east lane of the 400 block of Main Street around 2:00 this afternoon.

Police are looking for a brown 1998 Toyota Sienna with BC license plate 946LRP and “Corporate Courier’s” signs on both sides.

The stolen medication is in pill, capsule and liquid form, and was destined for a pharmacy on the east side of Vancouver. Pharmacists have advised that the stolen medication is not a narcotic, but can cause sickness if consumed.

Anyone who has information about this theft, or knows the whereabouts of the stolen truck or medication, is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department at (604) 717-3200, or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
